First photo of the Aston Martin AMR-One

This season, Aston Martin would like to go and tease Audi and Peugeot . The decision was therefore made to design a completely new chassis, this time in-house. Unlike its two rivals, the British brand has decided to develop an open and not closed LMP1.

But the beauty was slow to show herself. This evening, David Richards? team finally revealed a first photo of its new weapon. The shot is surprising, and confirms what Stefan Mücke told us during the presentation of the entry list for the next 24 Hours of Le Mans : “Aston Martin made no compromises in the design of the car, and every detail was very carefully considered. From the looks of it, it looks very good? »

Given the width of the wheel arches, we can think that, just like Audi and Peugeot, the AMR One will have wide wheels at the front, in order to benefit from more grip.

If the English do not seem very far in advance in the development of their prototype, a model should be entered in the 12 Hours of Sebring for the trio Stefan Mücke-Darren Turner-Adrian Fernandez, two examples having to be present at the start of the Le Mans classic on June 11th.
