As at every meeting of the world endurance championship, the BoP (Balance of Performance) for the 6 Hours of Fuji was awaited. Especially since it follows the big premiere of the Peugeot 9X8 at the 6 Hours of Monza on July 10. For the round taking place at the foot of the famous Japanese mountain, where the competitors will find the second longest straight line on the calendar (1,5km) after that of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the French Hypercar will see its weight decrease by 18 kg compared to its debut in Lombardy (1 against 061 previously). Its power (1 MJ / relay) and its hybrid system trigger speed (079km/h) will not change.

At Toyota, the only evolution will also be on the scale. The GR010 hybrid will also be reduced by 18 kg, going from 1 to 071.Alpine A480, victorious at Monza and leading the world championship, will lose power, going from 795 to 752 MJ/relay, returning to a level similar to that of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. As a reminder, Glickenhaus will not be traveling to Japanese soil.

Some small adjustments also took place in GT: the Porsche 911 RSR-19 will lose five kilos (1 kg), but will be able to carry two additional liters of gasoline per relay (259), the Ferrari 488 GTE Evo will remain at the same weight for three liters less per stint (92) and the Corvette C8.R will only be weighed by 10 kilos (1).

On the Am side, Porsche will be able to carry 101 liters of gasoline per relay, compared to 88 for Aston Martin and 89 for Ferrari.
