Rockenfeller returns to the 24 hours of Le Mans

After taking third place on the GTLM podium at the 24 Hours of Daytona (Florida), Mike Rockenfeller is preparing to return to compete in the 24h of Le Mans June 16 and 17. As we announce to you in issue 2150 of AUTOhebdo, the winner of the 2010 edition with Audi, absent from the Le Mans double clock since 2012, will make his return in one of the two Corvette C7Rs.

Mike Rockenfeller will perform as in the Florida classic alongside Jan Magnussen and Antonio Garcia taking advantage of a favorable calendar with the DTM where he keeps his main program with the Rings brand.

Marcel Fässler will also be present in Sarthe to defend the interests of the American manufacturer. The three-time winner of the Sarthe double clock will be lined up with Tommy Milner and Oliver Gavin like last year when he took eighth position in the category. The two former winners of the Le Mans classic with Audi are both entered in the NAEC of theIMSA with Corvette this season.
