The Ginetta G60-LT-P1s will be back in the LM P1 peloton of WEC starting tomorrow for the start of the Barcelona Prologue. Two days of driving where the armed wing of the English brand, Team LNT, will test several drivers, the list of which was confirmed this Monday.
The experienced Stéphane Sarrazin, on foot since the withdrawal of SMP Racing, will evolve alongside his former teammate Egor Orudzhev, Stéphane Richelmi, formerly with Jackie Chan DC Racing in LM P2, Mathias Beche, former resident of Rebellion Racing, Luca Ghiotto , resident of Uni-Virtuosi in FIA F2, and the former winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2003 with Bentley Guy Smith.
These six drivers will join official drivers Mike Simpson and Charlie Robertson, who have been involved in the development of the prototype since its first laps. Team LNT further confirms that no announcement regarding the crews expected for the first meeting of the season in early September at Silverstone. Negotiations are still underway with other pilots.
With this in mind, and to help Team LNT in the operation of two cars, Ginetta will call on Algarve Pro Racing, which will provide technical support in Catalonia.
