Toyota and Aston Martin confirm in FP2 at Sebring

Thanks to a time of 1'41"730 signed José-Maria Lopez, the Toyota TS050 Hybrid n°7 stands out during the second free practice session of the 1000 miles of Sebring, antepenultimate round of the WEC 2018-2019. The sister car follows at 0”532 and the first Non-Hybrid LM P1, BR1-AER #17 at 1”2. The Rebellion for their part concede 1”6 to the reference mark.

In LM P2, it is the championship leader, Jackie Chan DC Racing, which leads the way and is ahead by 0Alpine A470 n°36 and 0”6 the Oreca 07 n°28 from TDS Racing.

Aston Martin confirms its good form in GTE Pro, once again thanks to the #97 of Lynn-Martin, which is just a breath ahead of the #67 Ford GT of Bomarito-Priaulx-Tincknell. Ferrari, Porsche, BMW and Corvette respectively concede 0 »2, 0 »5, 0 »9 and 1 »0.

Finally, in GTE Am, the No. 911 Porsche 86 RSR from Gulf Racing shone and preceded the No. 0 Ferrari 080 from Spirit of Race by 488.

The third free practice session is scheduled for 21:15 p.m. French time and qualifying at 2:30 a.m. Thursday to Friday night.
