Three LM P1s only in Austin!

Can't wait for them Le Mans Hypercar – hoping thatAston Martin be part of it – and especially the LMDh, cars which, unfortunately, will not arrive – respectively – before September 2020 and September 2021. Because there, it borders on the laughable. The two Ginetta G60 LT P1-AERs having disappeared from the entry list for Lone Star Le Mans, there will be only three LM P1s on the grid in Austin on February 23.

As a reminder, if they want to be assured of being part of the entry list for the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 13-14, 2020), competitors registered for the year in WEC cannot miss more than one race. In other words, they are entitled to a joker. Team LNT has decided to take its own and will therefore skip the Texas round, just as Cool Racing will miss the 1000 miles of Sebring (March 20, 2020).

If DragonSpeed could field an Oreca 07, it will not be enough to fill this void. Three LM P1s at the start? We have never seen this since the rebirth of the WEC in 2012. Let's not mince our words, it looks bad.
