A year after one of the most controversial outcomes in the history of the premier category, and while the scar has not healed at Mercedes, F1 has returned to the scene of the crime. What lessons have been learned since then?

Remember, it was a year ago in Abu Dhabi. Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), one hand and four fingers on an 8th world title, at the end of a knife duel with Max Verstappen (Red Bull). A race under control… until Nicholas latifi (Williams) gets into the wall, 5 laps from the goal.
