Abu Dhabi: the moment of truth

Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and Mark Webber will all have had their ups and downs this season. Mechanical problems for some, bad strategy during a few races for others, the worries and the successes were balanced until leading to this final in Abu Dhabi.

For the second time, the Yas Marina circuit hosts the last race of the year but, unlike last season, it is here that the World Champion will be known. To heighten the suspense, for the first time, four drivers can still claim to be crowned.

Around 15:40 p.m., a pilot will triumph. Fernando Alonso, leading the World Championship, is still the favorite of the predictions. Best driver of the second half of the season, he was able to come back from afar, then take the reins of the standings in the final stretch of the season.

Despite the controversies and team orders, the 2010 Champion won an epic battle, at the end of a remarkable season, full of suspense, with three teams having developed a car capable of winning one of its drivers. This season will be a milestone in the history of the F1.
