After the waltz of the drivers, the waltz of the team directors, here is the waltz of the title sponsors. Alfa Romeo announced on Friday the signing of a “record” partnership with the company Stake, specializing in casinos and online betting but also in entertainment. She is notably associated with major personalities such as the Argentine footballer Sergio Agüero and the rapper Drake. This “multi-year” agreement will be central to the new identity of the team, which now takes the name “Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake.”

Alessandro Alunni Well done, the new representative of the Alfa Romeo team, welcomed this new agreement. “We welcome Stake as the team's new title partner in what represents the start of a new era for both of us, did he declare. Formula 1 has seen a huge surge in interest in recent years and the arrival of brands such as Stake is representative of the massive exposure our sport can offer. We are thrilled to join such a portfolio of sports and entertainment brands and can’t wait to see what Stake will unveil for our fans.” »
Orlen leaves Alfa… for Alpha
This signing therefore signifies the end of the partnership between Orlen and Alfa Romeo, active since 2019. The Polish multinational, sponsor of Robert Kubica, has already found another team to sponsor: Alpha Tauri. The Italian team announced, in the wake of Alfa Romeo, that Orlen was becoming its “main partner” from 2023. According to the press release published by the Faenza structure, Orlen logos will appear in several important places of the AT04, especially on the rear wing. However, no mention was made regarding Robert Kubica.

Like his counterpart at Alfa Romeo, Franz Tost was delighted with this new partnership. “I am happy to start the 2023 season with such positive news for the team,” commented the team director of the Team AlphaTauri. Orlen is one of the leading oil and gas companies in Central Europe and this partnership will allow them to further increase their brand awareness, thanks to the global platforms we offer as a team. I can't wait to see their logo on our new car at the launch in New York next month (February 11, editor’s note.) and also to see how this partnership will progress in the years to come. »
