No, make no mistake, Daft Punk are not back. Unless they have made a reconversion that is daring to say the least, but we must admit that it is rather hard to believe it. Invited to present the two male and female Ballon d'Or trophies during the ceremony this Monday, Fernando Alonso et Esteban Ocon surprised everyone by arriving at the wheel of theAlpine A110 S, obviously, in a most sophisticated setting.

Between two Grand Prix, Alpine gets noticed

Official partner of the ceremony rewarding the two best players of the calendar year, Alpine took the opportunity to unload its drivers between two Grands Prix, to bring the two most important and/or publicized trophies of the year. Disguised as what looks like Daft Punk, Alonso and Ocon took the opportunity to tour the capital aboard the new Alpine A110S, before walking the red carpet at the Théâtre du Châtelet, arousing the curiosity of the evening's prestigious guests.

This Monday evening, Alexia Putellas, the FB Barcelona player, as well as the now seven-time winner, Lionel Messi, were rewarded with a respective Ballon d'Or. Side Formula 1, the pilots Alpine have no time to lose since they are eagerly awaited in the Middle East, for the first Grand Prix in the history of Saudi Arabia, on the intriguing urban track of Jeddah, this weekend.
