Alonso close to Ferrari

The Spanish and Italian media made it their front page: Fernando Alonso and Ferrari have agreed to work together in 2010. But for both parties, everything does not seem as simple as a given word. Certainly, if Ferrari has two drivers under contract for 2010 - just like the Spaniard is at Renault-, this notion is no longer a barrier to hiring in Formula 1. And according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the agreement between the Team and Alonso dates back several months, as AUTOhebdo asserts in its pages this week.

However, it is Kimi Räikkonen's contract at Ferrari that poses a problem. And if the Scuderia wants to do without the services of the world champion, this operation will be very costly for the Italian team, which will then have to pay the months of salary owed to the Finn. Despite everything, Ferrari is determined to hire Fernando Alonso. Stefano Domenicalo could announce it during the Italian Grand Prix, or at the end of the season, so as not to put pressure on the drivers affected by these movements.
