Alpha Tauri revealed this Monday noon the car with which it is preparing to compete in the 2022 season. It is difficult to know if this is exactly the real car that we will see in Barcelona next week, or if it is more a question of a simple livery presentation like had done it Red Bull last Wednesday. The Italian brand is in any case the fifth team to lift the veil on its 2022 single-seater after Haas, Red Bull, Aston Martin et McLaren.
In a video developed and made public this afternoon, AlphaTauri revealed the contours of its AT03 new regulations version. The Faenza firm notably relied on its clothing brand to launch a show which lasted only two minutes – the video was broadcast on the team's social networks – mixing a somewhat futuristic scenario, the two drivers of the team and the new livery obviously.

As far as the single-seater is concerned, the team keeps its blue and white colors. On the side of the bodywork, blue takes a more prominent place, but the rear wing and the halo, which were blue on the AT02, are this time white. We can see on the side faces of the pontoons, more irregular shapes than on the other single-seaters already revealed. Note that the Italian flag is present on the upper part of the front wing support.
As in 2021, the Team will rely on its pilot duo composed of Pierre Gasly and Yuki tsunoda. Author of a high-level season, the Frenchman will be the leader of the team on the track and will once again try to work miracles to raise the colors of the Faenza structure to the highest. On the Japanese side, the objective will be to be more regular and above all closer to his French teammate. As a reminder, in 2021, AlphaTauri finished sixth in the constructors' championship after fighting against Alpine until the last round of the championship in Abu Dhabi. But the homogeneity of the duo Esteban Ocon - Fernando Alonso had made the difference.
