AlphaTauri hopes to retain Gasly and Tsunoda in 2022

While some teams have already confirmed their line-up for the 2022 season (Ferrari, Haas or even McLaren), others, like Alpha Tauri, are not yet at this stage. Brought by Pierre Gasly et Yuki tsunoda, the Italian team should soon comment on this subject. And according to its Team Principal, Franz Tost, the Faenza structure does not wish to make any changes next year.

If Pierre Gasly brings complete satisfaction to the AlphaTauri staff with a podium in Azerbaijan and an 8th place in the Drivers' standings, Yuki Tsunoda still has a lot to prove. Despite his speed, the 21-year-old Nippon is capable of the best and the worst, notably with a few off-track events such as those in qualifying at Imola or Paul Ricard recently. A detail that his Team Principal does not seem to really take into account at the moment.
