After three days of testing, Gasly says he is ready for his debut with Alpine

Like a new season. The three days of winter testing completed, the F1 is preparing for his new year of competition. In just a week, the grid will meet once again in Bahrain where this time it will not be a question of testing but of a Grand Prix, the first of the campaign but also that of Pierre Gasly with Alpine.

After six years in the fold Red Bull, the Norman has decided to take on a new challenge in his career. This week in the Gulf, the new teammate ofEsteban Ocon had the opportunity to acclimatize to his new environment with 156 rounds covered in three days. Here he is ready for this new adventure.

« These three days of pre-season testing in Bahrain were very intense, recognizes Pierre Gasly. I have to say that I am clearly ready and excited for the first Grand Prix next Sunday. Personally, this week should allow me to continue my integration into the team and familiarize myself with the A523 on the track.

Our running program was dense with many different elements to test as well as adjustments. Although we have accomplished a lot, not everything is possible in such a short period of time and we still have work to do to continue improving our package. I'm proud of the efforts made by everyone on the team and I can't wait to see what awaits us in racing next weekend."

On the track, Alpine seems to have hidden his game. In terms of Red Bull performance, Ferrari et Mercedes were logically above but also Aston Martin who promises to be the main threat for the Blues. It remains to be seen if the French team has not yet revealed all its cards.
