Arrivabene does not intend to give up his arms

With a 5th and 6th place in Germany last weekend, and as a bonus once again beaten by the Red Bull RB12, the Team Ferrari remains far from the objectives set at the start of the year, namely to come and fight with the reigning world champions Mercedes.

The hope of achieving better results than those posted in recent weeks still remained among the drivers after the German Grand Prix, but it is clear that the men from Maranello must now deal with the return to the forefront of the team from Milton Keynes, while Mercedes still remained as the main opponent designated for Ferrari this year.

Despite the current difficulties, Maurizio Arrivabene wanted to show his desire for 2016 intact. « Let's say that instead of having one opponent, we have two, he proclaimed after the Hockenheim meeting. Red Bull has made good progress, it must be recognized.

But if you expect me to surrender, don't count on it. Happy vacation to you, I don’t know if I will take one. And if so, I think they won't be good. Nothing stopped today. It would not make sense for us, faced with this result and the championship rankings, to stop work on 2016 and focus on 2017.”
