Arrivabene: Vettel, a copy of Schumacher

Maurizio Arrivabene was already present when Scuderia Ferrari was collecting successes with Michael Schumacher when he worked for Philip Morris. The new Team Principal of Maranello dream of experiencing the same success with Sebastian Vettel, already a four-time world champion, nicknamed “Baby Schumi”.

“I lived at the heart of the team in Michael's time and I must admit that I am sometimes impressed when I look at Vettel and realize that he is in a certain way a true copy of Schumi. For those who have experienced both, they have impressive similarities. We hope the results will be the same”, commented Maurizio Arrivabene to journalist Leo Turrini.

Maurizio Arrivabene is carefully observing the progress of the competition, after the Prancing Horse made a good impression at the tests in Jerez (Spain). « Mercedes hid his game. I always expect positive surprises with Honda. You should never exclude this Japanese manufacturer because they often have a solution. »
