Aston Martin announces new technical reinforcement from Red Bull

Aston Martin continues to expand its technical department. 

After the appointment of Luca Furbatto as director of engineering, then that, more or less formalized, of Dan Fallows as technical director, the Silverstone team announced this Thursday the arrival in its ranks of Andrew Alessi as director of technical operations. 

Like Fallows, Alessi joins the green army set up by Lawrence Stroll from the stable Red Bull Racing where he worked in the department in charge of aerodynamics. 

Unlike his colleague, who will not arrive at Silverstone for several years, Alessi will take up his position as director of technical operations from this Thursday, July 1.

Aston Martin is currently in the process of restructuring with the rise of former technical director Andrew Green, promoted to the role of “ Chief Technical Officer » with the mission of leading the long-term vision of a team which is aiming for the title within 5 years.
