Aston Martin confirms Stroll and Vettel for 2022

Aston Martin unveils its line-up for the 2022 season. Lance stroll et Sebastian Vettel will still be behind the wheel next year. Lawrence Stroll is delighted to keep his duo: “ We have made great progress in recent months and Lance and Sebastian have put in excellent performances. In 2022 we will continue with this mix of youth and experience ». 

His son, Lance Stroll is happy to continue with the four-time German world champion for a second year in a row: “ We both started with Aston Martin and I look forward to continuing this adventure with him. We are working hard to improve our performance in 2022 ».

Announced about the departure in recent days, Sebastian Vettel therefore silences all these rumors with the confirmation of his extension within the  the Gaydon firm for the 2022 season: “ I can't wait to discover the new generation of Formula 1. It looks very different with new technical regulations and cars that can follow each other more closely than currently. More exciting races will benefit drivers ". While waiting for the arrival of the new single-seaters, Aston Martin is focusing on the rest of the 2021 campaign in order to finish beyond 7th position in the Manufacturers' championship.
