Boris Johnson to the rescue of the British Grand Prix

The organization of two Grand Prix behind closed doors on the Silverstone circuit has become complicated since the United Kingdom imposed a 14-day quarantine for each foreign person. These races scheduled for July 26 and August 2 remain uncertain due to health measures, but The Times announced that the government would provide assistance in holding the tests.

United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson intervened with his ministers to ensure that the F1 can occur on its territory. F1 could therefore benefit from exceptional measures by not subjecting foreigners to this quarantine period.

These quarantine measures applied from June 8 already offer exceptions, but sport has not been affected until now.
