Brawn: Schumacher doesn't deserve this

Starting from sixth place on the Monaco grid following his penalty, the race Michael Schumacher would have stopped at the first one following contact with the Lotus E20 of Romain Grosjean. Fortunately, the pilot Mercedes was able to continue his race, but it was a fuel pressure problem that got the better of the German just 15 laps from the checkered flag. Ross Brawn can only deplore the succession of problems that the German has encountered since the start of the season ?It?s very disappointing, because he showed that he was still very efficient and he could have scored very useful points. We must do everything to ensure that everything goes well for him from the next Canadian Grand Prix. »

For his part, Michael Schumacher was a little disillusioned with the mishaps that have happened to him since the start of the season. " What can I say ? », asks the seven-time world champion. “It's unfortunate to end the race like this. This fuel pressure problem has nothing to do with the contact I had with Grosjean. I was secretly hoping for a podium, I am very disappointed with my weekend. But I am already looking towards Canada where the track should be to our advantage. I finally hope to have a normal race. »
