Button remains positive

Jenson, what went wrong in the last few GPs?

I think we understand the car better than two or three races ago. We have made good progress since Budapest. We looked closely at all the areas where we thought we had improved the car to see if we could go back to the previous version. There was a huge amount of work done in the very short window of work allowed. We can return to our best level of performance. This car is not bad, we just took the wrong direction?

What changes are being blamed?

It is impossible to point the finger at this or that thing. It is more complicated than that. It is now very easy to be slowly taken in the wrong direction since the ban on private testing prevents solid comparisons from being made. What reassures me is that we understand the car better now and that we have found things that should help us. We have no choice: we must return to the podium. No need to be worried. You have to stay positive and work. We have an 18.5 point advantage? Which is not nothing.
