Caterham F1 Team worries Toro Rosso

Caterham F1 Team arrives this year with a CT01 equipped with new elements that its older sister did not have (notably the SREC of Red Bull and the engine Renault). Toro Rosso, who took eighth place in the Manufacturers' Championship last year, now faces the unknown after changing his two drivers this year. Franz Tost, the director of the Italian team, is in any case expecting a good fight in the middle of the grid and counts Tony Fernandes' team among the direct competing teams.

“The direct competitors for us are Sauber, Force India and Caterham.”, says Franz Tost. “Caterham has managed to build a good infrastructure. They have the Renault engine and the SREC from Red Bull, which means they have a good package. They have two experienced drivers and I expect them to become rivals, indeed. Our goal will be to take seventh place in the Manufacturers' Championship. We have to do better than last year. »
