Chad Hurley, savior of USF1?

USF1 communicates very little, but one thing is certain: the future of the team is written in dotted lines. The development of the car is significantly delayed and the team risks losing its place on the starting grid if a solution is not quickly found.

But a member of USF1 wishing to remain anonymous declared that it is no longer Ken Anderson and Peter Windsor, co-founders of the team, who could save the Americans but Chad Hurley. The recent color noises reporting for several weeks that Hurley would take steps, independently of Anderson and Windsor, to save the team, the co-creator of Youtube seeming very involved in the project. We are even talking about possible discussions with Campos, Dallara or Stefan GP.
Still on condition of anonymity, our man made some confessions to Autosport:

?We feel that Hurley and his advisor Mullins are best placed to save us from certain rout. Hurley does not seem to have any intention of jumping ship even though media reports believe he has gone to Campos. The team is united and we are all concerned by the project. I have never seen such involvement. The United States can have a team of F1. We are all very experienced in many areas of design and construction. But when we noticed that the office responsible for designing the car was not moving forward, it became clear that we would be in trouble. Our pay for January 15th arrived late. Finally paid on the 20th, people started to ask questions from then on. There are currently 60 people working in Charlotte but 10 have already left the factory.?

Peter Windsor would be the only member of the team who until recently still believed in the presence of USF1 at the start of the season on March 14:

» During a meeting with employees Windsor asked us who thought the team wouldn't be in Bahrain. Everyone raised their hands. He was shocked. »

However, the co-founder of the team declares that he will continue to work hard despite the difficulties in order to keep USF1 afloat.
