During the Sprint race of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc sees a stray cat in the middle of the circuit.
The Monegasque steps up to save the life of the little animal. He immediately warns his team so that he can be placed in safety.
The animal rights association PETA sent a letter a few days later to the little prince of Monaco to thank him for his gesture.
« We send you our sincere gratitude and are happy to know that the animals can count on you. We congratulate you on your victory in second place and wish you much success ».
