During the offseason of Formula 1, pilots are used to engaging in various sporting activities in order to maintain their body and mind. For Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), the winter break was an opportunity to practice another hobby: music.
The Monegasque pilot, who has been playing the piano since a young age, spent two days in a music studio with French artist Sofiane Pamart. The two men collaborated on the production of a CD (EP) of four tracks, which will be available from midnight on the night of Thursday February 15 to Friday February 16.
I have enjoyed every second of this moment. During the off season, I got in a studio for 2 days together with Sofiane and we worked on 4 songs that will be released tonight at midnight.

“I enjoyed every second of this moment, wrote the future teammate of Lewis Hamilton within the Scuderia in 2025. During the off-season, I spent 2 days in the studio with Sofiane and we worked on 4 songs which will be released tonight at midnight.
I am very proud of the result. We will also be releasing vinyls which you can pre-order at the link below, available for a limited time. We will also release the piano sheet music of the songs. I hope you like it all! »
In 2023, Charles Leclerc published on his YouTube and Spotify account, an orchestral arrangement of one of his compositions, entitled AUS23, in reference to the 2023 Australian Grand Prix, when he composed this music. Several million listens later, the Monegasque was surprised by this success on the official F1 website.
“I knew it would make a bit of noise, because an F1 driver releasing a song is unusual! But I didn't want to do a marketing stunt, I just wanted to share with those who love me playing the piano. To be honest, it didn't take me much time. I had a team around me who helped me with the documents to release this song.”
Charles Leclerc follows in the vein of his future sidekick Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time world champion is passionate about music, and although he has (for the moment) never published a single in his own name, he has recorded several pieces in studios. He also wrote a verse on the music “Pipe” by American singer Cristina Aguilera in 2018 under the pseudonym XNDA.
As for Sofiane Pamart, the composer and pianist is used to collaborations that rejuvenate the outdated image of classical music. The Northerner has built a solid reputation by working with several rap artists since the end of the 2010s. His inspirations are Chopin, Ravel and Debussy, and in November 2022, he was the first solo pianist in history to fill theAccor-Arena from Paris-Bercy for a piano concert-recital.
