Daniel Ricciardo what a first!

This race will remain like that of the first victory of Daniel Ricciardo en F1, but also as the first defeat of the season for the Mercedes W05 Hybrid by Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton. If the German finally finished 2nd behind the Australian's RB10, Lewis Hamilton lost big in the race for the championship with a second retirement in 2014. This Grand Prix will have a breathtaking scenario in store for us from the first to the last lap.

From the start, Hamilton, better off than Rosberg, tried to attack his teammate at the first braking but the championship leader forcefully defended his position. The Englishman went off-piste and saw Hag move to 2nd at the third turn. But the Safety Car immediately made its appearance following the collision between the two Marussias of Max Chilton, in distress at turn 4 which came to harpoon poor Jules Bianchi. The two MR03s were eliminated from the start and the safety car remained on the track for seven laps. At the restart, Nico Rosberg retained the advantage over Vettel. Hamilton was waiting for the 10th lap to pass the World Champion again and launch an attack on the leader. The first stop changed nothing but on the 25th lap, Rosberg pulled straight at the last chicane, regaining the margin on Hamilton who had come very close to the No. 05 W6 Hybrid. While under investigation, the incident will not result in a penalty for the German. The fight between the two Silver Arrows drivers took a more dramatic turn when both cars lost power almost at the same time. And after the second pitstop, Hamilton came out in front of Rosberg after a longer stop for the latter. But, very quickly at the hairpin, the Briton veered a little wide. The old pilot Williams came back in stride before Hamilton, back in the slipstream, pulled straight to the last chicane! This time it was a brake problem which overwhelmed the 2008 World Champion, forcing him to retire.

Nico Rosberg regained the lead after Massa's stop but saw a peloton led by Sergio Pérez, who started on an offbeat strategy, Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel. The Australian passed the Force India at first braking and chased behind the Mercedes which he finally overtook two laps from the goal, still slowed down by its loss of power. But it was behind that the ultimate adventure occurred at the start of the last lap where Massa tried to pass Pérez during the first braking. But the Mexican shifted at the same time to put pressure on the Red Bull of Vettel. The collision between the two cars sent the two drivers into the wall in a very violent crash, but with a happy ending, the two protagonists escaping their car alone. The race will finally end under safety car regime.

Ricciardo wins ahead of Rosberg and Vettel. Button takes 4th place ahead Hulkenberg. Fernando Alonso place first Ferrari in 6th position at the end of an anonymous race in front Valtteri Bottas, Jean-Eric Vergne, excellent 8th, Kevin Magnussen and Kimi Raikkonen. Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado gave up their Lotus E22. The Venezuelan encountered an engine problem when the Frenchman saw one of the pillars of his rear wing give way at the end of the Grand Prix.
