Daniel Ricciardo gave everything to come back

After the intervention of the first safety car for the consecutive accidents of Marcus Ericsson (Caterham) and Romain Grosjean (Lotus), Daniel Ricciardo had inherited the lead of the race. Returning to the lead once again after the second Safety Car (deployed for Pérez's exit), the Australian decided to return to the pits one last time, his rear tires being in pain.

“I had to come back each time in this Grand Prix, explains the winner of the day on the podium. The last few laps were incredible, I was able to attack and overtake thanks to my fresher tires and the DRS. The overrun on Alonso was essential, because I knew I might only have one chance. I'm going to celebrate properly and enjoy the break. »

Ricciardo signs his second success of the season in Hungary after his victory in Canada.
