Only 18 cars will be placed on the starting grid at 15 p.m. Indeed, Sergio Pérez (Red Bull) and Nicholas Latifi (Williams) will start from the pit lane. The Mexican opted for a fourth internal combustion engine (ICE), while only three ICEs are tolerated by the regulations over a season. Formula 1.

Sergio Pérez will also benefit from several new elements: turbo, MGU-H and MGU-K, energy recovery and electronics control unit.

As for the Canadian, he will drive with a brand new gearbox following his violent accident in Q2 (38 Gs collected) on Saturday afternoon.
