Discover the starting grid for the 2020 British Grand Prix

For the seventh time in his career, Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) will start from pole position at Silverstone (Great Britain) this Sunday August 2. The Englishman will have the other on his side car black, the one driven by Valtteri Bottas.

The young guard will occupy the second line, with Max Verstappen (Red Bull) in front Charles Leclerc (Ferrari). The new favorite of British fans, Lando Norris (McLaren) will go ahead Lance stroll (RacingPoint).

The Renault close the top 10 in the company of a timid Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari, 10th). French Pierre Gasly (Alpha Tauri, 11th) achieved the performance of driving faster than his replacement Alexander albon (Red Bull, 12th), while the ghost Nico Hulkenberg (Racing Point) could not do better than a 13th time.

Two drivers received five-place penalties: George Russell (Williams, 20th) and Daniil Kvyat (AlphaTauri, 19th). The Briton was found guilty of excessive speed under yellow flags in qualifying while the Russian replaced his gearbox.
