EA unveils the F1 23 trailer: here are the new features

EA Sports

And what we can say with this trailer is that it makes you want to (again) get behind the wheel! Against the backdrop of epic music, between different action-packed scenes, we can distinguish some new features compared to previous opuses.

-The red flag will finally reappear. Much requested by the community for several years to add a touch of realism, it is finally done. It was there a few years ago, but it ended up disappearing. Now he's back!

-Braking Point mode returns to F1 23! For beginners, it's a story mode where the player plays a character in a fictional team, climbing the ranks to become world champion. EA had already been teasing for several weeks the arrival of this new team within the game. It is led by Devon Butler, the former main character in previous editions. The second big novelty in this game mode is the arrival of a female character, a first in the history of the game.

-EA Sports and CodeMasters have reworked the physics of the game. That of the previous opus being extremely hazardous (lack of support of the single-seaters, ultra-slippery vibrator, and car which slips in 4th gear), it was time to remedy these concerns which clearly tarnished the gaming experience. The 3 main points which were worked on are: braking, grip in turns and re-acceleration.

  • The 35% racing format will appear, with the aim of reproducing what is done during F1 Esports competitions.
  • The Las Vegas circuit and the Qatar circuit are coming to the game to complete the season calendar. The Portimão, China and Castellet circuits will also be retained.

That's it for the new features of this F1 23!
