EL1 – Verstappen in his garden in Austria

We take the same and start again ! Max Verstappen set the best time in FP1 in Austria. A week after the last race on the circuit Red Bull Ring, the championship leader does it again and puts pressure on Mercedes.

The German team fared poorly in FP1. Valtteri Bottas only signing the 4th beat, Lewis Hamilton only 7th. 
The nice surprise comes from Ferrari. In difficulty for a few races, Charles Leclerc et Carlos Sainz placed second and third. Between the silver arrows, we find Yuki tsunoda (5th) and Kimi Raïkkönen (6th). The Finnish pilot, embarrassed by mazepin at the start of the session, showed him his displeasure with a middle finger.

The top 10 is completed by Perez (8th), gasly (9th) and Norris (10th). As for the reserve drivers, and there were many of them at the Red Bull Ring, we note the 14th place of Zhou for its first official session. He is thus the best of the rookies. Ilott sets the 15th time when Nissany is 18th but ahead of his teammate Latifs. 

Also note that the new tires which will be introduced at Silverstone were tested by the majority of drivers during this morning session.
