On medium tires, Fernando Alonso confirmed the good form ofAlpine by setting the new best time, in 1:11.996. The Spaniard further improved his mark (1:11.705) to move ahead Charles Leclerc. Sergio Pérez (1:10.526), ​​Fernando Alonso (1:10.670), Lando Norris (1: 10.781), Lance stroll (1: 10.842), Sebastian Vettel (1:10.872), Charles Leclerc (1:10.896) and Pierre Gasly (1:11.005) finished in the top 10.
