The rain was swirling around the circuit during the day on Friday, it decided to hit Spa-Francorchamps this Saturday. No driver was able to put on slick tires, with the exception of Lando Norris in the very last minutes of the session for a lap of honor.

In the wall yesterday, Max Verstappen (Red Bull) dominated these FP3 with a time of 1.56:924. He thus sticks 9 tenths to his main pursuer Sergio Perez (Red Bull). The top 3 is completed by Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) but who is more than a second behind his rival for the title by signing a 1.57:996.

Behind a few drivers stand out in the rain and could thus play a good position during the qualifying session in a few hours. Lando Norris (McLaren) climbs to fourth place ahead of the latest winner, Esteban Ocon (Alpine). Generally very fond of these conditions, Lance stroll signs a promising sixth time in 1.59:205. He is ahead Pierre Gasly (Alpha Tauri) who gave himself a big scare at the end of the session with a 360° in the last sector.

The top 10 is completed by Sebastian Vettel (Aston Martin), George Russell (Williams) and Fernando Alonso (Alpine).
Outside the top 10, Valtteri Bottas is only in eleventh position and seems to be in difficulty again under the rainy conditions.

Also note the poor performance of the drivers Ferrari. Carlos Sainz is in 13th place when his teammate fails in 16th position. As a reminder, Charles Leclerc had crashed yesterday during FP2 and had to change the chassis but also the gearbox.

For his part, Kimi Raïkkönen brings up the rear but will have only completed three laps at the start of the session. The Finn reported to his team a problem with the brakes of his Alfa Romeo.

The qualifying session will be followed from 15:00 p.m. in live text on AUTOhebdo.fr.
