Immersed at Alfa Romeo with Théo Pourchaire

Standing in front of his locker, at the back of the garage Alfa Romeo, a short meter from the car de Guanyu-Zhou who will be his for the day, Theo Pourchaire zips up his suit and puts on his yellow helmet, his favorite color since his debut in single-seaters. Instantly, his playful smile fades, his jaw clenches and his face closes. Six minutes away from climbing for the third time in a Formula 1, a year and a half after his private ride in Hungary in 2021, and two short months after Free Practice 1 of the United States Grand Prix, the Habs do not underestimate the importance of his day in the Alfa Romeo C42 . Théo makes no secret of it, he is seeking a starting seat in 2024 at Sauber, where he has been a member of the Academy since 2020.
