Did the new technical regulations meet expectations?

Absolument ! Ce n’est jamais facile de changer un règlement, et c’était encore plus compliqué cette fois-ci, car il s’agissait d’une toute nouvelle philosophie. On s’est rapidement aperçus que les voitures, qui jusqu’alors ne pouvaient pas se suivre à cause des contraintes aérodynamiques, avaient davantage de facilité à le faire désormais. Même si l’on pouvait espérer un resserrement des performances plus prononcé. Sans doute étions-nous trop gourmands. Ce resserrement
