Developments in Türkiye for BMW

As the Monaco Grand Prix approaches, the BMW Sauber F1 team is already thinking about a trip to Turkey. Nick Heidfeld marked this meeting in his calendar to show his team's progress.

After a difficult 2008 season, during which he suffered from the comparison with his teammate Robert Kubica, Nick Heidfeld is struggling to show off this year at the wheel of a BMW Sauber blatantly lacking in competitiveness.

“Monaco is an extraordinary circuit but it is impossible to make any predictions. To be honest, I'm already thinking about Turkey. We will have a new aero package with the famous double diffuser. I hope we can take a big step forward,” says the 32-year-old German.

Nick Heidfeld is in ninth place in the championship with six points.
