F1 / Bahrain: Hamilton looks back on his stops

Starting from the first row of the grid for the Bahrain Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton certainly hoped to do better than eighth place. But the Briton lost his hopes of being well classified by losing many seconds during his pit stops. The English team has experienced numerous problems when changing tires since the start of the season, having difficulty securing the wheels correctly. If the 2008 world champion is frustrated by this poor performance, he remains calm after the race by not blaming his team.

“We should study this because we are losing a lot of points today, which is causing us to lose the lead in the Championship”, he commented on Sky Sports. “We will have to try to resolve this problem for the next race because we cannot afford to lose as many points as was the case today. I was hoping not to have the same problem on my second stop but it was exactly the same. We still took points today which I can be satisfied with. However, my pace in the race was not great and I had a lot of trouble keeping my rear tires on. »
