Fabio Leimer reserve driver Manor

After making a detour through the World ChampionshipEndurance last year within the Swiss team Rebellion Racing, the Swiss Fabio Leimer will return to the world of single-seaters this year by joining the Manor team as reserve driver. The former 2 GP2013 Series champion was confirmed by John Booth's team this Wednesday. In addition to free practice sessions, the native of Rothrist will be able to replace one of the two current drivers Will Stevens and Roberto Merhi if the need arises.

The 26-year-old pilot had once been on his way to pilot in Super Formula in Japan, but his contract with Team Mugen was canceled for financial reasons.
