Faced with strong demand, the Miami Grand Prix expands its grandstand

The first Miami Grand Prix in history was a popular success and its 2e edition (May 5 to 7) is likely to be as well. It is even certain since the organizers of the Florida meeting were forced to update their infrastructure for the new arrival of the F1.

Promoter of the Miami Grand Prix, South Florida Motorsports, confirmed capacity increase of the Miami International Autodrome for the 2023 edition “ due to high demand ". The stand which could accommodate up to 53 spectators will have 000 additional seats added, bringing its total to 3. The various attractions of the Florida venue such as the Hard Rock Beach Club or The Yacht Club at the MIA Marina will also be enlarged, announced SFM. In addition, 000 new boxes will be added in addition to two new luxurious spaces, one at the first turn, the second at the marina level at the end of the first sector.

In addition, the developers are planning the construction of a brand new building to permanently install its Paddock Club. This will be located next to the Hard Rock Stadium, a sports venue which runs along the Florida route. Finally, South Florida Motorsport has launched the three-day “General Admission Campus Pass” on sale this Monday, January 23. This one " will allow more fans to experience Formula 1 and Miami culture through access to unique locations » from the speaker. These include, among other things, raised platforms between turns 8 and 10 as well as access to the official fan zone including simulators but also food and drinks.
