1 F2024 Championship – The ranking after the Miami GP

There was no 16th podium without a victory. This time, its presence on the box was synonymous with a first success in Formula 1 for Lando Norris who won the Miami Grand Prix this Sunday. In the right place at the right time, the Englishman McLaren took advantage of the racing facts to get ahead Max Verstappen et Charles Leclerc. For the Briton it is the end of a long wait since he had to wait for his 110th Grand Prix to finally triumph.

In the championship, this victory allows Lando Norris (83 points) to move up to 4th place tied with Carlos Sainz, penalized after arrival. At the top of the rankings, Max Verstappen still dominates the debates with 136 units now, 33 more than his teammate Sergio Pérez. Charles Leclerc completes the podium with 98 points.

Among the Manufacturers, McLaren distances itself from Mercedes in 3rd place. The Woking team currently has 124 points against 64 for the Germans. Red Bull unsurprisingly remains in the lead with 239 units, or 52 more than Ferrari.
