Fernando Alonso will slip once again into the bucket of the Renault RS20, currently driven in the World Championship by Daniel Ricciardo et Esteban Ocon, on the occasion of the post-season testing day in Abu Dhabi on December 15, in the wake of the last 2020 Grand Prix.

The Spaniard, who had returned to the track with Renault at the wheel of an R.S.18 for runs in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi, was then able to drive the current car flanked by the diamond, when of a 100 km shoot in Barcelona last October.

The double world champion will therefore officiate in a usual session reserved for young drivers, but Renault has received the agreement from the FIA ​​to enter the future 2021 starter.

Renault F1 Team will also trust the Chinese Guanyu-Zhou, test driver for the French team and aligned in the FIA F2 this season. The two drivers will share the wheel of the R.S.20 throughout the day.
