Fernando Alonso had good feelings

Fifth in the morning and third in the afternoon, Fernando Alonso says he had a good Friday in China during the first two free practice sessions. “At the end of the day, the overall feeling is positive,” said the two-time Spanish world champion. “We worked well and beyond that, it's always fun to drive on the circuit which has unique characteristics, like the first corner”, details the pilot of the Team Ferrari.

“From one session to the next, the conditions improved considerably as the cars from the other categories that ran after our morning session cleaned the surface”, judges the Asturian. ?The increase in temperature today means that we drove in conditions similar to those we expect tomorrow. Once again, the tires will play a key role during this Grand Prix because of the high level of damage during the long stints. We're going to have to make sure we choose the right strategy for Sunday, just as we have to select the new parts that will fit the car.
