After three nights spent under observation in hospital, following his accident which occurred last Sunday during the last day of the first Barcelona tests, Fernando Alonso left the establishment to return to rest with his family in Spain.
McLaren confirmed that the double world champion would not take part in the testing session still organized in Catalonia this week. It's the Dane Kevin Magnussen, test and reserve driver for the Woking team (and starter last year, Editor’s note) who will replace the Iberian alongside Jenson Button. The 2009 World Champion will be the first to hit the track tomorrow at the wheel of the MP4-30 powered by Honda's turbo/hybrid V6.
