Ferrari: Alonso gets used to Schumi

Fernando Alonso, upon arriving at Ferrari, was, for many fans, the true successor of Michael Schumacher. Forgotten Kimi Räikkönen, goodbye Felipe Massa, Italy wanted to see the native of Asturias triumph with the Team. And the double World Champion started well, since he obtained his first victory in red in his first Grand Prix at the wheel of the F10.

But the shadow of Michael Schumacher still hangs over Maranello. The German spent 14 years there, including 11 years as a pilot, and such history cannot be erased overnight. At Ferrari, Schumi knows everyone, he who was still an advisor to the Scuderia last year, walking the pit wall with his Ferrari helmet screwed on his head.

From then on, Michael Schumacher likes to visit his former colleagues, as he did during pre-season testing and again this week. On Wednesday in Melbourne, Schumi indeed stayed for a long time in the Ferrari hospitality (lodge), chatting with the Scuderia staff.

Fernando Alonso, now Ferrari driver and opponent of Michael Schumacher, is not moved. “For me, no problem, I don’t see any problem with it,” he admitted to us in the Melbourne paddock. It is not the first time. Already this winter, he came during the tests to get some food! I have the impression that Ferrari's cooking is better than his! »

With humor, the Spaniard prefers not to pay attention to these courtesy visits. It's difficult to oppose the arrival of a driver who has had such an impact on the Scuderia. But as long as the German does not come to spy on the underbelly of the Scuderia on behalf of Mercedes?
