Ferrari runs out of vacuum in Baku

Despite a 4th pole position in a row for Charles Leclerc, the trans teamalpine failed again against Red Bull and Max Verstappen. Worse, the Scuderia is now lost in the Drivers' and Manufacturers' championships since its two drivers retired due to mechanical problems.

Ferrari runs out of vacuum in Baku

Ferrari bites the dust in Baku @Scuderia Ferrari

The painful arrivals of Charles Leclerc in a mixed zone, closed face and crestfallen expression, begin to become a bad habit among Ferrari. In front of the media, the Ferrari driver once again publicly took responsibility for his team's mistakes. With his gaze shifting, searching for words, which he tried to contain at the same time as his disappointment, he ended up throwing himself into the water. “There, the words are more and more difficult to find, he said at the microphone of Canal +. It hurts (silence). I lost power, I don't know what happened. That’s still three weekends in a row…” The Monegasque was referring to the Spanish Grand Prix (May 22), where he had to retire in similar circumstances (the MGU-H and the turbocharger had failed), while he was leading the proceedings. At the time, despite the disappointment, he was not offended, considering that it would happen to everyone and that his rival Max Verstappen had experienced it a few weeks earlier (Bahrain and Melbourne). Except that since then, there has been the strategy lesson inflicted by the low wall of Red Bull, which deprived him of a first victory at home in the Principality (May 29). This new mechanical abandonment in Azerbaijan therefore resembles the last straw
