Ferrari wants tire tests

If the ban on private testing during the season annoys certain teams, the measure was accepted by the paddock of Formula 1 due to the need to reduce costs. But the arrival of a new manufacturer is worrying: in fact, during the next winter tests, the different teams will want to test the qualities of their car, having certainty about the quality of the rubbers.

Although it is now clear that Bridgestone will not change its mind and will leave the paddock at the end of the year, the name of its successor is not known. Michelin and Pirelli have been fighting over this issue for several weeks. And, despite Michelin?s meeting with the team managers in Istanbul, the choice of manufacturer for 2011 seems to be moving towards Pirelli.
