Force India: few changes after the break

Force India seeks to maintain its level of performance by taking advantage of the poor Williams F1 Team. At the end of the German Grand Prix where the Indian team took seventh and tenth place, Vijay Mallya's team came back to 20 points behind the Grove team.

Before the resumption this weekend at the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps, the director of Force India is resolutely optimistic about his team's abilities to take over the British team, believing that the hierarchy should no longer evolve.

“We can expect to get into the points again (at Spa), said Vijay Mallya. We are achieving good results and Spa represents a good opportunity to continue this series. The developments installed at Silverstone (Great Britain) made the difference and there is still potential to be extracted from the chassis. All teams had to focus on 2017 and the peloton should no longer evolve significantly. Some circuits are more successful for us than others, but Spa is a track where the VJM09 can perform well. »

“The fight is tight in the middle of the pack, but we are doing well, welcomed Vijay Mallya. We scored 67 points from Monaco against 31 for (Williams). If we continue like this, it will be interesting to see where we will be at the end of the season. »
