Nico Hulkenberg could soon find a position as an official pilot. According to Autosport, the Force India reserve driver could replace Adrian Sutil from 2012, even if the official announcement of the starting drivers will not be given before the end of the year. The 3rd driver of the Indian team highlighted himself with Williams in 2010, notably starting from pole in the Brazilian GP, but was replaced by Pastor Maldonado this year, the Venezuelan having significant financial support necessary for the British team.
Adrian Sutil could therefore be sidelined, the German having seen his position put in danger since the Chinese GP. The Force India driver has been with the Indian team since 2008 but the case where he was involved in a fight with Eric Lux, the co-owner of the Lotus team-Renault, threatened his future within Vijay Mallya's team.
