Force India: Sutil remains a serious candidate

Force India is playing with the patience of the paddock F1 remaining indecisive regarding the identity of the replacement Nico Hulkenberg for the 2013 season just one month before the first Grand Prix of the year in Melbourne. Jules Bianchi is a serious contender since he benefits from the support of the Ferrari Driver Academy and that he distinguished himself at the wheel of the VJM06 in Jerez. However, Narain Karthikeyan's name has appeared in the list and Adrian Sutil remains a possible choice for Vijay Mallya more than ever.

The German saw his career end in the discipline after four years of loyal service for the Indian team following his attack on Eric Lux. However, the German driver quickly became one of the potential candidates to play alongside Paul di Resta. The former Spyker driver has also molded his seat on the VJM06 and could well take part in the Barcelona tests next week. “Adrian molded his seat”, a team spokesperson confirmed on GPUpdate. “The crew is not finalized yet but there is a possibility that Adrian could be involved…” The competitor's manager Manfred Zimmermann also stressed on Motorsport Magazin that his protégé remained at the top of the list. “We are confident it will work, but unfortunately we have to be patient. »
