Gene Haas ready to introduce Nascar to his F1 drivers

Gene's arrival Haas en F1 could establish a connection between single-seater discipline and Nascar where he also owns a stable. Several pilots such as Kimi Räikkönen or Juan Pablo Montoya have attempted the American adventure. Despite seven seasons contested in the Sprint Cup, the Colombian has only won two victories, all won on road circuits.

After installing Romain Grosjean in Kurt Busch's Chevrolet, Gene Haas would be tempted to introduce his F1 drivers to Nascar. “(Romain Grosjean) was well established in the No. 41. I think he would be very interested. We would put him in a Cup car if we had the chance. I believe that every driver wants to discover another discipline to see how he does”, commented the owner of Haas F1 Team, quoted by NBC Sports.

However, Gene Haas does not expect to see his drivers shine at the wheel of Nascar. “F1 is a different world. When drivers from F1 discover Nascar, they realize that these cars are not easy to drive., underlined the American businessman.
